First BOA to arrive - Eerste BOA komt op bezoek
Vandaag is BOA Patricia met vriend Sebastiaan richting Amerika vertrokken. Ze reizen eerst 2 weken rond in het Westen en gaan onder andere langs bij de Grand Canyon. Gelukkig kan ik na die twee weken Westkust, de digitale foto's in ons eigen huis met hun verhalen erbij bekijken..... Ze komen namelijk ook bij Joe en mij in Boston langs!! Ik verheug mij al weken op hun komst. Kan niet wachten om ons apartement te laten zien, het gemeentehuis waar we zijn 'getrouwd', de bakker waar ik mijn brood haal, alle touristische attrakties, de verschillende restaurantjes die Joe en ik hebben ontdekt, etc. Ze zijn de eerste vrienden die ons op komen zoeken: spannend en gezellig. Het luchtbed is al van zolder gehaald en het apartement krijgt een flinke schoonmaakbeurt. Nu maar hopen dat Joe niet weer voor zijn werk naar Vermont moet voor die hele week.
Today 1 of the BOA's (Babes of Amsterdam), Patricia, and her boyfriend Sebastiaan left the Netherlands to explore the West Coast of the US for 2 weeks. They will explore SF, Yosemite and even stop by the Grand Canyon. The third week, they will come to Boston and visit Joe and me in Boston!! For weeks I have been anticipating their arrival. I cannot wait to show them our apartment, the bakery where I get my bread, city hall where we got 'married', the fun restaurants and touristic sights. They are the first friends from the Netherlands to visit me: Exciting and "Gezellig" (something you cannot translate in English). The air mattrass came down from the attick and the house will be thoroughly cleaned. I just hope that Joe does not have to be in Vermont all week for work.
