I have had to wait for a long time, but at last the cows have arrived. The Cow Parade is in Boston. A variety of artists from the Boston area have painted life sized cows with Boston related topics. The Cow-Parade has existed for several years now and they visited most major cities in the world. People collect the miniature versions that can be as much as $250. Throughout Boston the brightly decorated cows are grazing, staring or lying in the sun waiting to be admired. Joe’s favorite cow was the one covered in chili peppers, his favorite ingredient when cooking.

I was still quite sick this weekend, but too eager to see the Cows. Therefore I pumped myself full of medication and as I am standing next to the Newbury Street cow, I am stoned from a combination of DayQuill, cough syrup, inhaler and aspirin. I was tired of lying in bed while the sun was shining. Finally the rain had ended and there I was in bed sick. I paid for this escapade by lying in bed for another few days, feeling miserable.
